PIERS offers an analysis of a one mile radius PIERS environmental sites database search or customized requests for specific database information. These list searches are usually ordered by real estate professionals attempting to categorize the environmental problems associated with a geographic area.

The databases used for all PIERS reports are continually updated with the most current environmental regulatory data available. Federal, state and local environmental regulatory agency lists and reports are searched and plotted on color maps using integrated GIS and database software. Occasionally, a lender will request that PIERS generate a database search to ensure that the subject property or immediately adjacent properties are not listed in any such database.

PIERS experienced Certified Asbestos Consultants (CAC) are certified and registered with Cal/OSHA and provide the quickest and most complete asbestos management services for Demolition and Renovation projects and to meet the requirements for obtaining Bay Area Air Quality (BAAQMD) Notification J Numbers.

PIERS ACM Surveys provide complete identification of ACM materials, location of asbestos materials and the sample points, the sampling process used, submittal to a laboratory accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), and a detailed report explaining the results and if there are any friable or non-friable asbestos materials present. PIERS can assist clients in managing the abatement of any asbestos containing materials found.
