PIERS Environmental Transaction Screen (ETS) reports are a cost effective alternative environmental due diligence report. PIERS provides hundreds of ETS reports every year to clients including lenders, brokers and investors that often use the ETS to screening a property for potential environmental risk. The PIERS ETS is compliant with the current Standard Practice for Limited Environmental Due Diligence: Environmental Transaction Screen Process, ASTM Standard E1528-14.

PIERS Environmental Transaction Screen process includes a physical site inspection by an environmental professional, completion of an interview and environmental questionnaire by the owner/occupant, limited historical research including but not limited to Sanborn Map Reports, Historical Aerial Photographs, Historical City Directories, a PIERS regulatory database report review, available online research and preparation of a report documenting the findings, conclusions and recommendations.
